Art. Someone's gotta do it...why not you? If you feeling creative, why not take a class at SLPL? Award-winning local artist Rose Mavis offers Open Studio Art Class at SLPL on Mondays, 1:30-4:30 pm. Winter Session I. begins Jan. 7 and is $160 for a 6 week session. Winter Session II begins Mar. 4, and Spring Session begins April 22.
Adults and high school students can attend these classes, and you choose the medium: watercolors, acrylics, oils, pen & ink, or pencil. Students must obtain their own supplies, material list available at the library. All skill levels welcome!
Register in person or by phone at least one week in advance. A portion of the class fees benefit the SLPL library.
