So you may or may not have realized that my office has moved...I'm no longer staring awkwardly out at you through the glass windows of the office that looks right into the YA room. Now you can only wave to Mrs. Lacock...boohoo.
My new office is in the staff area. Where you cannot go. But I just decorated it really snazzy, with some bookish/paper ideas that I thought you might like. I'm in a huge book-crafty period right now, so I think everyone else should be too.
Here's the flag garland I made out of scrapbook pages:
This garland is SOO easy and I think it would be super cute if you cut the flags out of old book pages (disclaimer: of course it must be an old, ratty, falling apart book that no one can use anymore.)
Just in case I forget my initials, I created a yarn letters monogram:
Also a really easy project. Just buy letters at a craft store, get some yarn, and start wrapping. Quick and relatively cheap way to brighten up any dull (in my case, very gray) space.
